Discovery Channel showcases new episodes of Man vs. Wild beginning January 12, 2009, with adventurer Bear Grylls at the helm. Eight new hi-def episodes will follow Bear to challenging locations such as Transylvania, Turkey, Belize, the Yukon Peninsula, Dominican Republic and the Badlands of Oregon. Eight new hi-def episodes will follow Bear to challenging locations such as Transylvania, Turkey, Belize, the Yukon Peninsula, Dominican Republic and the Badlands of Oregon. All new episodes of Man Vs. Wild, at their new day and time, air Wednesday night at 10pm ET/PT, on Discovery Channel USA. These feature shows from Mexico, Yukon, Dakota, Ireland and Louisiana.

Bear finishes filming Channel 4's and Discovery Channel's next season of Born Survivor & Man Vs Wild, which feature shows from Siberia, Zambia, Namibia and Sumatra. Born Survivor airs 8pm every Sunday night from April 13th, and Man Vs Wild airs 9pm ET/PT every Friday from May 2nd.
