Discovery Channel showcases new episodes of Man vs. Wild beginning January 12, 2009, with adventurer Bear Grylls at the helm. Eight new hi-def episodes will follow Bear to challenging locations such as Transylvania, Turkey, Belize, the Yukon Peninsula, Dominican Republic and the Badlands of Oregon. Eight new hi-def episodes will follow Bear to challenging locations such as Transylvania, Turkey, Belize, the Yukon Peninsula, Dominican Republic and the Badlands of Oregon. Bear finishes filming Channel 4's and Discovery Channel's next season of Born Survivor & Man Vs Wild, which feature shows from Siberia, Zambia, Namibia and Sumatra. Born Survivor airs 8pm every Sunday night from April 13th, and Man Vs Wild airs 9pm ET/PT every Friday from May 2nd.
Bear appears on the 'Friday night with Jonathon Ross' show in the UK, and in America on the Oprah Winfrey Show, the David Letterman show, Conan O'Brien Show and the USA Today programme.
